Verizon awards more than $1 million in grants each year via its Verizon Small Business Digital Ready program, and the program is back for 2024 to help level up small businesses. To that end, Verizon has partnered with LISC to offer 50 small business owners the chance to receive a $10,000 grant to help grow and scale their businesses.
Verizon Small Business Digital Ready offers businesses support, aiming to enable digital readiness and drive digital transformation via a customized curriculum that accounts for industry, size, and interests.
Developed by small businesses, Verizon Small Business Digital Ready provides a personalized experience – providing resources, networking and coaching tailored to a small business’s specific needs. The program can help small businesses move forward with personalized learning, expert coaching, peer networking, and incentives, including the $10,000 grant.
The program’s online curriculum is designed to give small businesses the tools they need to thrive in today’s digital economy, including access to personalized learning plans, coaching from experts and networking opportunities with diverse, industry-specific businesses.
Here’s how small businesses can apply for free for the opportunity to win one of these grants:
• Apply between now and June 28, 2024 at https://digitalready.verizonwireless.com/grants.
• Complete two courses or events to up your small business skills.
All applicants will be notified whether they’ve been chosen to receive funding.
This initiative is one part of Verizon’s commitment to providing 1 million small businesses with digital tools and resources by 2030, and is central to Verizon’s responsible business plan, Citizen Verizon, for economic, environmental and social advancement.
