Audience: CAREERS & the disABLED, published since 1986, is the nation’s first and only career-guidance/recruitment magazine for people with disabilities who are at college, graduate, or professional levels. It is distributed by direct request through paid subscription to people with disabilities who are students, entry-level, or professionals in all career disciplines- sent to their home address. All 1,400 four- year university placement offices, all Easter Seals offices, United Cerebral Palsy offices, and AHEAD (Association on Higher Education And Disability) offices. Each issue features a special Braille section. CAREERS & the disABLED has won many awards, including several “Award of Excellence” acknowledgments from the President’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities.
