CAREERS
& the disABLED, established in 1986, is the nation's first and only career-guidance/recruitment
magazine for people with disabilities who are at college, graduate, or professional
levels. Each issue features a special Braille section. CAREERS & the disabled
has won many awards, including several "Award of Excellence" acknowledgments from
the President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities.
Audience:
Distributed by direct request through paid subscription to people with
disabilities who are students, entry-level, or professionals in all career
disciplines- sent to their home address. All 1,400 four- year university
placement offices, all Easter Seals offices, United Cerebral Palsy offices,
and AHEAD (Association on Higher Education And Disability) offices.
